Copper-Matrix NTF® Non-Toxic Frangible Ammunition is a patented product (U.S. Patent 5,616,642) designed specifically for the training of police, military and security personnel.

This ammunition is produced using a bullet made of copper and polymer, which is then loaded to SAAMI specifications. It is frangible and lead-free which enables the shooter to engage steel or other hard targets at virtually point-blank range without environmental risk.

Copper-Matrix NTF® is particularly well-suited for use in tactical training. Because it is frangible, tactical teams may train safely and effectively with maximum realism. Shooters may engage targets at much closer range without the risk of dangerous splash-back or ricochet and without environmental breathing hazards.

Copper-Matrix NTF® bullets are “target-friendly”. These bullets are not sintered or hardened, as are many other frangible bullets. Because this bullet disintegrates upon impact with a hard surface, collateral damage to range structures is drastically reduced. We have virtually eliminated the dinging damage to steel targets, that which significantly increases the operating costs of a shooting range. “Shoot houses” can now be constructed from steel plate, as opposed to the expensive, heavy armored steel/rubber anti-ricochet panel/plywood construction, which is common in the industry.

The Copper-Matrix NTF® bullet is completely lead-free and poses absolutely no environmental challenges. In fact, the bullet residue is completely recyclable. If Copper-Matrix NTF® is used exclusively on your range, the residue can be collected and resold since the only metal in the bullet is copper.
